Production Development & Investment

Phillip Covell

An area of business that I am keen to increase my involvement in is Film Development and Investment and taking projects all the way to Production and Release.

I often get approached by individuals, productions and producers in search of investment, and they are not alone, I too have a slate of productions that I would like to develop.

If you are looking for production projects in which to invest, then I may be able to offer a conduit to projects in varying stages of development.

To protect the IP as far as possible at this stage, the following are abstract descriptions of current project ideas that I have for development and scripting. Budgets are based on nearest comparisons or my own estimation of the likely costs:

  1. Feature Film: True Story of two nations working together against immense odds to create an icon of design that has captured the hearts and minds of generations.

  • Estimated Budget: $75m
  • Notes: Requires collaboration of various entities, and possibly film rights.

  1. Animated Feature Film: Pixar style tale of a magical world of music, where the talent, inspiration, and advice of the old and forgotten meets the brash and technological face of the present and the future. The message is to appreciate the past and learn from it, and be a good person in getting to where you’re going.
