Phillip Covell

Overview

With decades of experience spanning traditional film, broadcast television, and modern media innovation, I bring a rare perspective shaped by hands-on technical work, business leadership, and high-level collaboration across the industry. From camera and grip equipment at the heart of major productions to advising on post-production infrastructure, international expansion, and emerging technologies, my work bridges craft and strategy across the full media lifecycle.

I’ve contributed to features, drama, entertainment, music, news, factual, and sport, supporting production teams, building companies, and driving innovation in both analogue and digital formats. My focus remains on sustainable, future-facing media development, whether on set, in the boardroom, or shaping industry best practice.
