I established VFG Ireland in the role of General Manager between May 1998 and Dec 1998, as the first international base of operations for VFG PLC, the camera hire, sales, and manufacturing group. 

 

• Delivered a demanding contract to recruit the team and establish operations, ensuring first-year revenues of £2.2M.

 

• Supplied Animal Farm (Hallmark, budget $23M), successfully negotiated Ballykissangel, and won RTE as a client.

 

• Controlled a multi-million-pound fleet of broadcast and film technology, ensuring seamless operations and delivery.

 

• Successfully negotiated with the Irish Trade Engineering and Electrical Union facilitating mutual understanding.

 

• Instituted culturally sensitive image changes, turning Orange to Green, and registering vehicles in Ireland.
