I was asked to be part of the panel discussion, “Show me the money… after Brexit”. As Markets opened on the 24th June 2016 AVTN NewsNet247’s budgets had taken a £1 million hit as the Pound crashed. Brexit resulted in the addition of Amsterdam in the proposal, and accounted for £26.3M of the Network’s construction budget, and £42.5M in year one of transmission increasing to £52.3M by year 4 of transmission. I was able to bring these insights to the panel discussion and conference audience.

 

IBC2022

 

It was an absolute honour to take part in the IBC2022 conference in the ‘Changemakers’ sessions talking to Jaisica Lapsiwala about ‘Support for Ukrainian Media Professionals’ with Irena Gruca-Rozbicka of ‘Filmmakers for Ukraine’.

I participated in another panel supporting ‘Filmmakers for Ukraine’ as a joint recipient of an IBC Special Prize and representative of the group ‘Support for Ukrainian Media Professionals’ discussing our mutual efforts to help refugees and those still in the war torn nation.
